Activity 3

Instruction:

Write a Colombian folktale that you know. Write 200 words.

Help: Include the following parts:

*Beginning:

- There was once ...

- or Once upon a time there ...

*Ending:

-...and they lived happily ever after.

-...and that was the end.

- ... before it disappeared completely.

- ...and they never did that again.

- or ...and was never seen. 

 *Moral: If the story has a moral, give it to the end.

Now let's read arabian folktales.  Listen and read "Ali Baba and the forty thieves."

* Make a grapich dictionary including 30 words your learnt while reading the story.
